Growth for the Community
“Lisa” trained as a teacher, but she had been out of the classroom for several years, staying home with her young children. When CDI opened a new branch office in her town, she was drawn to their work educating children with special needs and soon joined the work as a teacher. While having great enthusiasm and love for the children, Lisa soon realized that while she knew about teaching in general, she needed to know more about special education. So, she started an online course at a Russian university, studying while she held down her job and her homelife, and recently received her diploma for the course. So, CDI has a more qualified teacher, Lisa has more knowledge of her field, and the community has more help for children with disabilities.
