Care for Caregivers

“Daisy” runs CDI’s education program for children with special needs who live in government institutions. Daisy spends a fair amount of her days encouraging and equipping the teachers who staff this program. However, this past summer, Daisy turned her attention to the caregivers in the institutions. Frequently uneducated and underappreciated, Daisy and other CDI staff arranged a retreat for these ladies. There were games and activities, additional training in caring for children with special needs, and Daisy spoke from 1 Corinthians 13, telling all the women how valuable they are in God’s sight. Please pray that God’s words would penetrate the caregivers’ hearts and move them closer to Jesus. Pray for Daisy and the other staff as they interact with these workers.
