What a Difference a Chair Can Make!

“Minnie” is 4 years old. Her medical condition makes it impossible for her to sit up unassisted. After CDI’s Taasir staff learned about Minnie from a therapist with another organization, they visited her with a therapeutic chair to try out. They found Minnie just lying on the floor and crying. The therapist comforted Minnie and Taasir staff adjusted the chair, so it fit her perfectly. Shortly after Minnie was placed in the chair, she stopped crying. Soon she was smiling. CDI staff affixed a table to the chair, and Minnie was able to sit on her own and play with toys comfortably. Taasir’s adaptive equipment can make a big difference in a child’s life.
